Saving the Moon

Saving the moon …as we earthlings are stumbling with sustainability, global warming and climate change, there are cracks that we can’t see yet on the horizon

An article in the May 2021 Reader’s Digest is thought provoking (please pardon my naivety, as I am told this debate is not new). Since water-ice was discovered on the moon, there is greater confidence that life can exist on the moon.
Which also means the moon can be used as a base to travel elsewhere into space, and to mine the moon of minerals, which some say it will create peace on Earth but some scientists say the rocket launches and debris will stay in the Earth and moon’s atmosphere for hundreds of years
What will the future be like …. ‘the new frontier’ takes a whole different meaning😌 …. It’s exciting and terrifying all at the same time …
technological advances is no more linear, it’s exponential , but it is also puzzling why there has not been another man landing on the moon since Apollo 17?
Migration in the future will probably be very different …I can just imagine -hey I am moving to the moon next year … see you soon .. who knows …

The article ends with ...
‘the moon is two faced, ….. but so is Earth…which one will we choose when the time comes’
